Pre-Licensure Nurse Apprenticeship Model (PNAM) Project
The PNAM Project provides senior nursing students with a full-time wage and benefits, access to clinical learning opportunities with a preceptor, and wrap-around supports as the students head toward graduation. Students must be enrolled in a participating pre-licensure nursing education program at one of Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Minnesota North College, or the University of Minnesota Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
“This program has been nothing short of amazing. Each clinical shift I experience, I leave feeling even more confident and almost always get to participate or observe something new.”

“This apprenticeship is quite a unique opportunity that you don’t get the chance to be a part of on a regular basis. This program gives students the awesome privilege to get paid for the clinical hours and school hours that are required of your nursing program, and we all know that is a lot of hours. I decided to apply and join this program because I am a student who was working full time on top of going to school full time”
