Curriculum Review

Curriculum review includes an expert consultant reading and providing suggestions for improvements and revisions on syllabi, course outlines, student handbook, faculty handbook, and curriculum maps. The program receives a final report and a summary meeting to discuss and clarify any questions. The consultant starts the process by meeting with program administration and program faculty to understand the intricacies of the nursing program.

Curriculum Revision

A consultant will guide program development processes using approved national standards and essentials. This includes guiding the faculty through creating a program outline, program student learning objectives, course identification and outlines, course-level learning objectives, admission criteria, and a course map to the essentials/national standards, using innovative teaching and learning strategies. The consultant will offer constructive feedback to ensure compliance with Minnesota regulations and standards, as well as accreditation standards. This consultation lasts over one academic year and includes weekly meetings with faculty to keep the project on track.
